 I have contracted with Sunshine Therapy Services as a speech-language pathologist since 2014.  

Don and Kristin have made themselves available to me in a variety of ways, whether it involved technical support with transitioning to electronic documentation or moral support when our team was dealing with a difficult therapist. I truly felt they always had my back and would support me as a professional in any situation.

 At the beginning,  Kristin helped me develop my caseload, figure out the area I wanted to serve, communicated with the case managers of clients, and was always quick to offer assistance in any way that she could. Kristin states in the interview that the power is completely in our control as to which clients we choose to serve and how many clients we would like to have, and she always keeps that promise. She offers ways to help minimize the caseload if that is desired or ways to obtain more hours if needed. Again, her first priority is that we are meeting our own financial needs and are enjoying what we are doing.

I have worked as a speech/language pathologist for Sunshine Therapy Services since July 2002. I am allowed the freedom and flexibility to select my clients and caseload size, set my own travel parameters, manage my own schedule, and to focus on areas of personal interest. Sunshine has offered continuing education opportunities and consultation support. My favorite part of this position is that my time and attention are not focused on paperwork and meetings but rather on my students so that I feel more effective as a therapist than ever before.

I have had the pleasure of working for Kristin and Don for a short three and a half years. They are amazing people to work for and amazing people to know.
