Sunshine Therapy Services offers comprehensive developmental therapy services, including consultation, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of children ages birth to 21 through schools and home based services. Since 2001, our staff has grown to include a variety of providers, all with pediatric backgrounds in clinical services. The firm provides services valley-wide, through medical insurance, privately funded therapy, the Arizona Early Intervention Program and the Arizona Department of Economic Security for the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
Kristin Gier, MA, CCC-SLP completed her MA in Speech Pathology in 1997 from San Jose State University, after completing a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The University of Arizona in 1994. She has been working with children of all ages in homes and schools for 28 years, providing home-based therapy services privately and through Arizona programs for the last 22 years. Founding Sunshine Speech-Language Therapy Services in 2001, Kristin has managed development and daily operations for the agency, often while maintaining an individual caseload. She has also participated in the growth and development of Arizona Cooperative Therapies; a cooperative agency Sunshine is a part of.
Don Gier graduated with his B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland in 1986. Don spent 19 mid-level management years in the Semiconductor industry, most spent in Maryland and California. He began working in the developmental services industry in 2006 by taking a financial leadership role in Sunshine, and for Arizona Cooperative Therapies, a cooperative agency Sunshine is a part of.
